It has paid a lot of members already regardless if its standard or golden. I, myself, got paid twice already and you can see proof of payments below:

PayPal Sept 9, 2009 - $ 1.97
PayPal Sept 24, 2009 - $ 3.04

For standard members, the minimum payout changes everytime you request for payment. On your first attempt, the minimum payout is 2 dollars. On your second request, it's 3 dollars. On third payment request, it's 4 dollars. And so on until you reach 10 dollars minimum payout. After that, it will always be 10 dollars minimum payout. I already made my first two payment requests so my new minimum aount is 4 dollars.

One good thing about Neobux is its security features and blocks away cheaters. Auto-clickers won't work in NeoBux. Aside from two levels of security, the provide an optional security card. The back of the card contains code and from time to time, given the position of the code, neobux would ask for the code found in the card.

You can't get inactive in neobux. Or else, all your referral clicks will not be credited to you. Meaning, if you want to earn tomorrow, you have to click today. It has happened to me for about 7 days but still I earned more than 5 dollars as of this writing.

NeoBux Ads to click -
NeoBux usually has 4-5+ ads per day for standard(free) members and 10+ for golden(paid) members.

NeoBux Earnings -
NeoBux earnings are very good, as a standard member you will receive $0.01 per click on regular ads and $0.0150 per extended view ads, and you will receive $0.005 per referral click. As a premium member you will receive $0.01 per ad and $0.02 per extended view ads, and $0.01 per referral click. You will also earn 10% of any purchase one of your referrals make.

eoBux Payments -
NeoBux accepts and sends payments by AlertPay/PayPal. Both standard and golden accounts have the instant cashout option, there is no waiting.

Stable Money Making Sites

I'm listing down my own set of Pay-To-Click Sites. I'm only going to include sites that already paid me or has paid my friends and colleagues. I'm doing this so that you could jump start your online money making business without worrying if the site is scam or not.

If you wish to join under me, you may contact me through:

Yahoo Messenger: rqniefes(at)yahoo(dot)com
Web Messenger: rqniefes(at)yahoo(dot)com
Email: rqniefes(at)yahoo(dot)com
Mobile: +63906-462-4193

I really love this site! This is the first PTC site that I joined that pays instantly! i have joined 3 weeks ago and I almost made 5 dollars.

Pay-per-click rate: $ 0.01 (standard member)
Referrral-click rate: $ 0.005 (standard member)
Minimum payout: $ 2.00 through Paypal and AlertPay (standard member)

Payment Proofs
PayPal Sept 9, 2009 - $ 1.97
PayPal Sept 24, 2009 - $ 3.04

Bux.To has been in this business for more than two years already. This site is still legitimate in spite of the long waiting time for payment requests (mine was almost 1 year before I got paid).

Pay-per-click rate: $ 0.01 (standard member)
Referral-click rate: $ 0.01 (standard member)
Minimum payout: $ 50.00 through AlertPay(standard member)

Payment Proofs
AlertPay Sept 9, 2008 - $ 10.08

This PTC site operates differently. It allows the user to "search" for his/her ads by entering the search keywords. Clicking the ads is worth at least 1 point. Some of them are 3 points. Our goal is to earn as much points we can get on or before Wednesday and Thursday. Trek Pay will compute the weekly earnings and then divide the profit into its members based on the number of points you got. The higher your points is, thhe higher your cash payment.

This is still in pre-launching phase but according to my friends, they really got paid and get paid. So I believe, this site is not a scam.

Payment Through PayPal.

Click-Rate: $0.01
Referral-Click Rate: $0.005
Minimum Payout: $9 min cashout thru alertpay.
Other Info: 15 business days cashout. 15 ads per day. 2000 ref limit

Neobux has paid me again!

For the 2nd time, I got paid by Neobux. Our goal is to visit Legaspi, Samar, Leyte, Cebu and Bohol within 8 days. Two months before the ride, we've been busy gathering information on RoRo schedule, road conditions and prescribed routes. And we have finally come up with our itinerary two weeks before the ride. We have 103 locations and tourist spots listed in our itinerary.

The next thing we did during the planning stage is prepared the things we need for the ride such as riding pants, zip lock plastics, plastic bags, digital clock, flashlight, maps, garments, and most importantly motorcycle spare parts (such as drive chain, spark plug and motor oil). Basic maintenance was also done for my motorcycle (Sym Magic 110RR).

Day 1 (Feb 27, 2009): we took off at 4:11 am at San Pedro, Laguna and filled our tank at Binan. Our next gas stop was at Lucena, Quezon. Then we took our breakfast at Gumaca, Quezon at around 9am. By 11am, we are passing through the Quirino Hiway. The road condition there is bad. A lot of potholes, huge cracks, unpaved lanes, sand, gravel, mud and even road slips. If you wish to take this route, be sure to traverse this road during daytime. It will be a lot harder if you try to pass through this road at night. After that we filled our tank at Ragay, Camarines Sur. Then we continued our journey and arrived at Tigaon at around 3:45pm. We have decided to fill-in our tank again since the next available gas station will be at Tabaco, Albay area. We will ran out of gas if we didn’t gas up at Tigaon. After gassing up, we arrived at Sagnay, Camarines Sur. There we enjoyed 23 kilometers of twisties. Road condition there is good except for some sand and gravel at the edge of the road. Aside from the twisties, the view there is great! Near Gorde Point, there is a place where we stopped by and took some photos. After 15 minutes of rest, we continued our journey and reach our final destination for day one which is Tabaco, Albay. We took our lunch and dinner there at 6:00pm and spent our night at my wife’s relatives. Our time of arrival was 6:35pm. This concludes our ride for day one.

Day 2 (Feb 28, 2009): We woke up at 5:30 am and began preparing ourselves. At 7am, we began our ride. Our final destination for today is Allen Samar. Upon reaching Legaspi City, we filled our tank with gas. Then opened up our itinerary and of course Legaspi City map.

The next thing we need to do that morning is to withdraw some cash. We began looking for Union Bank but for some reason, we are unable to withdraw money. The ATM keeps saying, invalid transaction. I'm beginning to feel uneasy because, any further delay will move our schedule behind for the first day. We only have enough money for food and gas but not for lodging and RORO fair.

We have decided to roam around the City first and take some pictures. We visited Legaspi's Mosque, old churches, city halls, sea port, park and famous statues. After that we went back to the bank and retry withdrawing some cash. At last, we were able to withdraw some cash. Then we took breakfast at Jollibee.

After that we went to Lignon Hill. The view there is great. You can see Mayon Volcano clearly and the whole Legaspi City. Aside from that you can also try riding their Zipline. Unfortunately, we weren't able to visit the Japanese tunnel in Lignon Hill since a group of students (field trip) were there.

Our next destination was Cagsawa Ruins. We spend 30 minutes of our time there taking some pictures. After that we went straight to Matnog, Sorsogon.

On our way to Matnog, there is a group of kids playing volleyball at the shoulder of the road. We were running at about 80km/h that time. I already saw them playing so I lessen my speed to 60km/h. When we are about to pass by, the ball suddenly bounced towards our direction from the left most part. I have to evade the ball but 60 is still a bit too fast. What we did is do some hard breaking (both front and rear) while slightly turning the bike left. We have evaded the ball which is just a foot away from our front wheel. Never run to fast when kids are around especially when they are playing with a ball is what I realized as my heart beat turns to normal again.

We filled our tank again at Sorsogon, Sorsogon. Then we continued our journey to Matnog. at 2:10 pm, we arrived at Matnog. We are clueless on how to buy tickets for us and my bike. Though we brought lots of copies of our MC's OR/CR, luckily, the arrastre there is very friendly. He helped us on our papers and in just 15 minutes, we have our tickets, freight receipt, terminal fee and PPA. And in 5 minutes, we are already inside RORO and began cruising towards Allen, Samar. At 4:30pm we arrived at Allen.

According to our plan, we have to spend our night at Allen so we looked for a decent place to stay. We stayed at Wayang Wayang Beach Resort. It's relatively cheap since their rooms are brand new, clean and pretty decent. We paid 900 pesos for an overnight stay there. After checking in, we went out again to fill some gas for tomorrow's ride.

Day 3 (March 1, 2009): Our final destination for day three was Cebu City. We began preparing ourselves as early as 6:00am and the rain began to pour. It's raining hard that time and I'm a bit worried about the weather condition. I asked for Sunsetrider's help by asking the weather report of PAGASA. Fortunately, there's no storm but just scattered rain showers through out Visayas region. We worn the rain gears we bought from Sir Overdose before take-off and has kept as dry until we reach Calbayog. The rain gradually stopped as we approach Calbayog. There, we made our first gas stop and took our brunch (breakfast and lunch). The next stop was at Catbalogan, Samar.

Road condition between Allen to Catbalogan is worse than we expected. Huge potholes and cracks, unpaved roads, mud, sand, gravel and dust are what you'll expect from it. We barely run 40 km/h. Although there are some part of the road that are well paved but its only few kilometers long. One thing we noticed in this area is, workers who rehabilitate the road are only using hand tools to fix their road. No machines were provided by the government. We even saw group of people trying remove the old road by hammering it multiple times and then leveraging it against the ground using only wood and manpower. My wife and I began to feel sorry for them and realized how fortunate we are compared to them.

After reaching catbalogan, road condition became good until we reached San Juanico Bridge. Of course we stopped over to take some pictures and moved slowly as my wife takes pictures while we approach the boundary of Leyte. By 2:24pm we reached Tacloban, Leyte.

We took pictures of famous landmarks at Tacloban and had our gas tank refilled. Then we went straight to McArthur Shrine. It's already 3pm that time and we still need to rush to Ormoc. We always try not to travel at night to avoid NPA since Samar and Leyte are known to be the territory of NPAs. Because of this, we barely spent 10 minutes of our time at McArthur shrine and went on immediately to Ormoc.

We reached Ormoc at around 5:16pm. We took our dinner at Jollibee (I'm starting to like it na, hehehe. We've been eating jollibee foods since Day 1) and immediately went to pier to buy tickets. By 10pm we began traveling from Ormoc towards Cebu City. Then we finally arrived at Cebu City at 3:00 am. To spend the rest of the night, we went to D'Inn and slept for 3.5 hours.

Day 4 (March 2, 2009): D'Inn is not the typical inn for resting and sleeping. We even saw used condom on the floor. We got no choice that time because it's 4 am and my stomach was crumbling (toilet please). Hehehe. We stayed there for four hours and we took off at exactly 8am. Honestly, I don't recommend this place. There are still a lot of better short time lodge/inn along the area. It's just my stomach was already looking for the throne and D'Inn is the first place you will see after exiting Pier 4.

At 6am, I started sending text messages to LittleGirl. she immediately responded and asked us where we are. She offered us to guide us around the city. My wife and I were too happy to hear the offer. So we went to gas up first then went to Jolibee at Gorordo Ave Corner to eat. There we waited for LittleGirl and her buddy to come. At around 9:50 am, LittleGirl and Butch came. We showed them our itinerary and they have come up with the route/ride plan (in just a couple of minutes).

We went first to Cebu City's business district, then followed by top. Ther we took some photos. You can clearly see the whole city from above. I bet it is more beautiful at night. Then we went to Kan-Irag Nature Park and Sky Island. We headed back to Cebu City and took our lunch. The food there was great and cheap! Thanks to LittleGirl and Butch for leading us to this place.

After lunch we went to Taoist Temple. The place is really nice and quiet. Then we roam around the City and took pictures of famous land marks such as Colon, old churches, Magellan Cross and famous buildings. Then we filled our tanks again near Pier 6 and immediately proceeded to Mactan Island by crossing the old Mactan-Mandaue bridge. There we visited Mactan Shrine. I saw a painting there where Magellan and Lapu-lapu fought. Magellan was looking downwards (towards Lapu-Lapu's ). Maybe that's the reason why he got killed. Maybe he's gay. Hehehe. (joke only).

After this we went to a beach at Mactan to take some photos. Then at 5 pm, we headed back to Marcelo Fernan Bridge Pylon. We went to a park under that bridge and rested for about 30 minutes. After that, we headed back to Sugbutel and concluded the ride. We checked in first at Sugbutel. Then went out again to SM Cebu to take our dinner. By 9:30 pm, we were back at the hotel.

Thanks to Butch and LittleGirl for guiding us and sharing some historical information about the place that we visited. We really learned a lot. And thanks again because, out of 25 landmarks and tourist spots we had in our itinerary, we were able to visit 28 places.

Day 5 (March 3, 2009): Our itinerary for day five is to buy Super Ferry tickets by availing their Birthday Discount Promotion and to buy dried goods such as danggit, fish tocino, tuyo and dried squids. We went to Pier 4 at 8 in the morning to buy tickets but for some reason, their system are unable to process birthday discount promo. After waiting for an hour, have decided to buy tickets at Lite Shipping Office. Then we went back at 11 am. Still their system still has problems and we continued waiting. To make the story short, we finally got our ticket at around 2pm. It took them almost 6 hours to fix the problem.

Around 1pm, while we are waiting for our tickets, LittleGirl and Butch came to rescue our day. We already have wasted half a day waiting for our tickets at Pier 4. At 2pm, they helped us buy our dried goods. Thanks to them again, we don't have to look for the best place to buy these. After that, we went straight to SM Cebu. We don't have any space for 5 kilos of dried goods so we went to Mail More and shipped these back to Laguna. Upon arriving at SM Cebu, they went home and concluded our short ride for today.

Day 6 (March 4, 2009): Finally, we are in Bohol!!! After 6 days of travelling, we arrived at our final destination. The sacrifice is still not finished since we have to travel from Tubigon to Panglao Island. It is around 100 kms away.

We took off at Tubigon at exactly 8:20 am. then we dropped by at Punta Cruz Watch Tower and spent 20 minutes of our time taking pictures. After that we went straight to Panglao. While we travel towards Panglao, we took pictures of old churches. At around 11am, we arrived at Flower Garden Resort.

At last, we can take our rest. My officemates are already there wen we came. So we immediately unpacked our things, changed our clothes, began to look for food and took our lunch. And in the afternoon, we went to Alona Beach and relaxed. The white sand is very fine and the sea is very clear. If I am to rate this beach from 1 to 10, that would be 10. At around 6:30 pm, we headed back to the resort to take our dinner and rest. We need plenty of rest for tomorrow's ride since we have 39 landmarks and tourist spots in our itinerary and we need to visit all of them tomorrow.

In our itinerary, we have three route plans and Route 1 got completed today.

Route 1: Tubigon - Calape - Loon - Maribojoc - Cortes - Tabilaran City - Panglao

Route 2: Tagbilaran - Baclayon - Alburquerque - Loay - Lila - Dimiao - Valencia - Garcia - Hernandez - Jagna - Duero - Guindulman - Candijay

Route 3: Tagbilaran - Baclayon - Alburquerque - Loay - Sevilla - Bilar - Batuan - Carmen - Sagbayan - Clarin - Dagohoy - San Miguel - Trinidad - Talibon

Day 7 (March 5, 2009): We woke up at 6am to begin preparing ourselves and of course, our bike. I noticed that my rear tyre has already lost pressure. It barely has 10 psi. the puncture was as small as staple wire's diameter. The good thing is, I brought my hand pump with me. At 7:15 am, we bagan our adventure. We gassed up at Tagbilaran, then took Route 2.

Route 2: Panglao - Tagbilaran - Baclayon - Alburquerque - Loay - Lila - Dimlao - Valencia - Garcia - Hernandez - Jagna - Duero - Guindulman - Candijay

We were able to follow route 2's plan up to Jagna only. At around 8:45 am, we have decided to take a short cut from Jagna, towards Carmen passing through Sierra Bullones. According to the map, it's just 36 kilometers away from Jagna to Sierra Bullones. Take note, we didn't refilled our tank. (lapit lang kasi eh, 36kms + lang carmen na)

From Jagna, the road condition there is PERFECT ... for just 5 kilometers. After that, Oh my, Am I at Sagada? There is no road anymore! We still have to travel 30+ kms before we reach Sierra Bullones. At that time, we were thinking, we don't have any choice, we are already deep into the mountains and turning back will cause further delay. So we continued our journey there and we barely run 40km/h. The road here is even worse than Samar's. Huge rocks, sand, gravel, soil are all over the place. There is no other transportation there but huge trucks, bulldozer and habal habal. We almost took 2 hours before we reach Carmen.

At Carmen, we immediately refilled our tanks. It's near empty already when we arrived. Just imagine, we were in the middle of the mountains with no gas stations around, unpaved roads, no other transportation and just few locals. Aside from that, I'm also worrying my bike would get damaged due to lots of bumps, tight uphills and downhills and flat tyres. We have to stop in the middle just to pump my rear tyre. I'm glad we made it to Carmen with no problems encountered.

Since we are already at the middle of Route 3 plan, we have decided not to pay a visit to Dagohoy, San Miguel, Trinidad and Talibon. We just went to Chocolate Hills then went straight to Man Made forest then to Loboc River. There we took our lunch (river cruise). We arrived at Loboc at 12:54 pm. By 2:20 pm, we have finished cruising the river, and of course, eating our lunch. Just be aware, you can eat all the food you want while the boat is cruising but you should save your drink wisely. You can ask for another bottle of soft drinks but that would be around 40 pesos each (237 ml only).

After this we went to Loboc Tarsier. We took some pictures and fed the tarsiers with crickets. Oh my, they all look like Yoda of Star Wars.
After this, we went back to Carmen then to Sagbayan Peak. We arrived at almost 5pm and rested there for 30 minutes. Took some photos then headed straight back to Panglao Island via Clarin-Tubigon-Tagbilaran route. By 6:24 pm we arrived at Tagbilaran and refilled our tank. We safely arrived at Panglao at 7:20 pm. This concluded our ride for day 7.

Day 8 (March 6, 2009): It's time to head back to Manila. We headed towards Tubigon Port. At 12 pm, we began travelling back to Cebu City. At around 2pm, we arrived Cebu City. We went straight to 2GO at Pier 4 to process my bike's freight documents. After this we stayed at SM Cebu and took our lunch. Then we headed back to Pier 4 and turned over my bike to 2GO at pier 5. At exactly 9:15pm, superferry started cruising towards Manila. We arrived at Manila at about 7pm the next day (March 7, 2009). And we finally arrived home in Laguna at 9:30 pm.

It's around 3:30 pm when we have completed our goal for today. RoRo schedule is 7pm so we have two hours spare time to rest. We took our dinner there (though it's only 4pm). At 5:30pm we went back to Pier 1. At around 7:10 pm the ship began to travel towards Tubigon, Bohol. We arrived at Tubigon at around 9:30 pm and spent our night at TMR Pension House.

Can a Pregnant Woman be Pregnant again?

This type of condition is also called "superfetation" according to doctors. According to them it is really possible for a pregnant woman to be pregnant again but this case is very rare.

In Arkansas, a couple received a huge surprise at their most recent ultrasound visit. It turned out that Julie Grovenburg is pregnant again. The two babies were conceived 2 1/2 weeks apart from each other. They are not twins in this case. Doctors noticed a second tiny sack during the ultrasound and heard a second heartbeat.

Sounds impossible and it’s extremely rare according to the experts. The doctor said that the two babies might be born in different year, the older at the end of this year and the younger one at the first month of 2010. Both babies have separate expected due dates.

The Grovenburg babies may be a rare case of superfetation, or conceiving while pregnant, doctors said.

There have only ever been 10 related cases reported and in most of them both children were born healthy. Both mom and babies are doing okay if not a little shell-shocked.

Watch Full Report

Biggest newborn baby ever - 19 pounds

My wife is now 37 weeks pregnant and I became curious on how big a fetus can get inside its mother's womb. This step is very crucial because, you wont be able to pay your cards by just paying the minimum amount. Currenty, the minimum amount due is 5% of the total amount due and 70% of it is just interest. The remaining 30% is only 1.5% of your total amount due. It will take you approximately 67 months to pay the total amount due. Earning extra money to add to your payment is very important because it lessens the time needed to pay it off.

Step 2: pay all your cards with just minimum amount due except one. Pick the card with the least outstanding balance and pay it off with the extra income you are getting every month.

Step 3: after you pay everything off in that one card, cancel it off. You should only maintain at most two cards. The rest must be paid off and cancelled.

Step 4: pick up the 2nd card and pay it next by following steps 2 and 3 but this time, add the money you are paying on your first card into the second card. Continue to do steps 2, 3 and 4 and you'll be debt free within 3 to 5 years.

At this point, do not use your card unless you are going to pay the new transactions before the cut off. You shouldn't incur any long-term debt from now on. Remember to alway pay your cards on time to prevent late charge fees.

Leverage: Other-People's-Money (OPT)

Have you ever wondered how Steve Jobs became rich? If you watched the movie Pirates of the Silicon Valley, Steve Jobs isnt rich to begin with. He earns little money by selling Steve Wozniak's gadgets. He tried numerous times to loan from banks but failed to get one. Until one time Mike Marcula met him and and invested a quarter million dollars. From there, Apple Computers prospered.

Anyone who wants to become wealthy and rich must know how to harness the leverage of other people's money. One good example is finding an investor. You can start your own business by borrowing money from investors. Another form is bank loan. You can borrow the depositor's money and return d money with interest in installment basis.

The point here is, if you'll just rely on your hard earned after taxed money, it will take you years before you'll be able to achieve financial freedom. But if you leverage your money with other people's money, then results can be achieved faster.

Rich people does it, why shouldn't we? Learn how to harness the power of debt, and it will make you very rich. Just be careful, debt is like a very sharp double edge sword. If you dont knowm how to use it, it might harm you or worst case, kill you.

Next time, ill share the difference between good debt and bad debt. Thanks to Kiyosaki for sharing these words of financial wisdom.

Leverage #1: OPT (Other-People's-Time)

There are a lot of leverages available now to earn money such as OPT, OPM etc. Someone who is on the "B" side (businessman) knows how to utilize Other People's Time (OPT). They do this in order to do tasks that they either can't do personally or have no time to do it. They would get someone in his team to do the job. There are a lot of ways to access OPT and the basic examples are:

A. Hire Employees - these people will work hard for money so hiring them is a good choice. The problem with this is, your overhead expenses increase as you hire more people and you are required to provide them salary and benefits even if your business is losing money. Any extended hours rendered is also compensated. Sometimes, they slack off but most of the time, they will work hard for you. The key here is, they worked for you so you should pay them instantly.

B. Get Business Partners - these type of people usually builds the business. They make money only if the business they built makes money. And they are paid based on deliverables(results). If the business wins, they win. If the business looses, they loose too. the key here is, they work hard today so that they will have a brighter future tomorrow (without working on the same thing every day).

One more complex form of OPT leverage is Business Process Outsourcing. This topic is a bit complex so i will discuss this in the future.

My Journey Towards Stock Market

Ok, I'm done with Robert Kiyosaki's books. So far, my mind has been opened up by him and has inspired me to learn more about money making and different ways to do it. I do have a lot of question in mind but I will focus on this one first:

What are the things I need to know before investing in Stock market?

After searching for great books about stock market, I was able to get a copy of One Up on Wall Street by Peter Lynch. I bought it for 705 Pesos only. Well, for me the book is cheap when compared to the contents that I'm learning from it. If i'm to attend a seminar about stock picking, then It will cost me more.

What is this book all about? Well, I'm not yet done reading the book but so far, I learned the following:

1. Anyone can be a great investor. Even below 10% Average IQ. This is great because, I'm not a genius but I'm not a moron either. I think I'm just average.

2. Most professionals are oxymoronic. They focus more on why they "shouldn't" buy a bargain stock than why they "should". Amateur investors focus more on the company's fundamentals (in short, why they would buy a stock).

Profession Literature - Job Portal

I've heard from a friend that a new Job Portal is going to rise this September 9, 2009 (9/9/9). It's called Profession Literature. You can visit their site at www.professionlit.com. One of the key features of this site is that, applying online becomes very easy. No need to create your account, fill-out long and tiring forms and apply for verification. Just search for the job, attach your resume and hit "apply now" button. And the best part is, it's totally free!!!

On the employer's side. I believe, they are going to offer this service for free and they will provide level 1 screening of applicants. Level 3 screening will be available soon but with minimal fee. Job advertising becomes very easy and very efficient.

I'm excited to see this long awaited service.

Special Nonworking Holiday August 5, 2009

On August 5, 2009, Malacanang Palace has declared this day as non-working special holiday to observe the funeral and burial rights of our former and late President Corazon Cory Aquino. Financial meltdown in the West spread throughout the world...

Tens of millions lost their jobs; billions across the globe have been hurt—the poor always harder than the rich. No one was spared....

It has affected us already. But the story of the Philippines in 2008 is that the country weathered a succession of global crises in fuel, in food, then in finance and finally the economy in a global recession, never losing focus and with economic fundamentals intact...

A few days ago, Moody’s has just announced the upgrade of our credit rating, citing the resilience of our economy. The state of our nation is a strong economy. Good news for our people, bad news for our critics...

I did not become President to be popular. To work, to lead, to protect and preserve our country, our people, that is why I became President. When my father left the Presidency, we were second to Japan. I want our Republic to be ready for the first world in 20 years...

Towards that vision, we made key reforms. Our economic plan centers on putting people first. New tax revenues were put in place to help pay for better healthcare, more roads, a strong education system. Housing policies were designed to lift up our poorest citizens so they can live and raise a family with dignity. Ang ating mga puhunan sa agrikultura ay naglalayong kilalanin ang ating mga magsasaka bilang backbone ng ating bansa, at bigyan sila ng mga modernong kagamitan to feed our nation and feed their own family....

Had we listened to the critics of those policies, had we not braced ourselves for the crisis that came, had we taken the easy road much preferred by politicians eyeing elections, this country would be flat on its back. It would take twice the effort just to get it back again on its feet—to where we are now because we took the responsibility and paid the political price of doing the right thing. For standing with me and doing the right thing, thank you, Congress...

The strong, bitter and unpopular revenue measures of the past few years have spared our country the worst of the global financial shocks. They gave us the resources to stimulate the economy. Nabigyan nila ang pinakamalaking pagtaas ng IRA ng mga LGU na P40 billion itong taon, imparting strength throughout the country and at every level of government...

Compared to the past, we have built more and better infrastructure, including those started by others but left unfinished. The Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway is a prime example of building better roads. It creates wealth as the flagship of the Subic-Clark corridor.

We have built airports of international standard, upgraded domestic airports, built seaports and the RORO system. I ask Congress for a Philippine Transport Security Authority Law....

Some say that after this SONA, it will be all politics. Sorry, but there’s more work....

We need to amend the Commonwealth-era Public Service Law. And we need to do it now....

Kung noong nakaraan, lumakas ang electronics, today we are creating wealth by developing the BPO and tourism sectors as additional engines of growth. Electronics and other manufactured exports rise and fall in accordance with the state of the world economy. But BPO remains resilient. With earnings of $6 billion and employment of 600,000, the BPO phenomenon speaks eloquently of our competitiveness and productivity. Let us have a Department of ICT....

In the last four years tourism almost doubled. It is now a $5 billion industry...

Our reforms gave us the resources to protect our people, our financial system and our economy from the worst of shocks that the best in the west failed to anticipate....

They gave us the resources to do reforms para palawakin ang suportang panlipunan and enhance spending power....For helping e raise salaries through joint resolution, thank you Congress.

Cash handouts give the most immediate relief and produce the widest stimulating effect.

Our preference is to invest in projects with the same stimulus effects but also with long-term contributions to national progress....

Napapanahon dahil it will unfreeze the rural property market.

Good luck, Gigi...

Nakinabang ang isang milyong pamilya sa programang pabahay at palupa, mula sa PAG-IBIG, NHA, community mortgage program, certificates of lot awards, at saka yung inyong Loan Condonation and Restructuring Act....

Our average inflation is the lowest since 1966. Last June, it dropped to 1.5%. Paano nakamit ito? Proper policies lowered interest rates, which lowered costs to business and consumers.

Congratulations, Tarnati. We will help more fisherfolk shift to fish farming with a budget of P1 billion...

Our efforts prodded the pharmaceutical companies to come up with low-cost generics and brands like RiteMed. I supported the tough version of the House of the Cheaper Medicine Law. I supported it over the weak version of my critics. The result: the drug companies volunteered to bring down drug prices, slashing by half the prices of 16 drugs. Thank you, Congressman Cua, Alvarez, Biron and Locsin....

Pursuant to law, I am placing other drugs under a maximum retail price. To those who want to be President, this advice: If you want something done, do it hard, do it well. Don’t pussyfoot. Just do it. Don't say bad words in public.

EPIRA dismantled monopoly. But minana natin iyong power purchase agreements under preceding administrations, so hindi pa natin makuha iyong buong intended effect. The next generation will benefit from low prices from our EPIRA. Thank you...

We increased indigenous energy from 48% to 58%. The huge reduction in fossil fuel is the biggest proof of energy independence and environmental responsibility. Further reduction will come with the implementation of the Renewable Energy Act...and the Biofuels Act....again, thank you.

The next generation will also benefit from our lower public debt to GDP ratio. It declined from 78% in 2000 to 55% in 2008. We cut in half the debt of government corporations from 15% to 7. Likewise foreign debt from 73% to 32%. Past administrations conjured the demon of foreign debt. We exorcised it....

The market grows economies. A free market, not a free-for-all...

To that end, we improved our banking system to complement its inherent conservatism. The Bangko Sentral has been prudent. Thank you, Governor Tetangco, for being so effective. The BSP will be even more effective if Congress will amend its Charter....

We worked on the Special Purpose Vehicle Act, reducing non-performing loans from 18% to 4% and improving loan-deposit ratios....

Our new Securitization Law did not encourage the recklessness that brought down giant banks and insurance companies elsewhere and laid their economies to waste. In fact, it monitors and regulates the new-fangled financial schemes. Thank you, Congress....

We will work to increase tax effort through improved collections and new sin taxes to further our capacity to reduce poverty and pursue growth. Revenue enhancement must come from the Department of Finance plugging leaks and catching tax and customs cheats. I call on tax-paying citizens and tax-paying businesses: help the BIR and Customs spot those cheats…

Taxes should come from alcohol and tobacco and not from books. Tax hazards to lungs and livers, do not tax minds.

Pardon my partiality for the teaching profession. I was a teacher....

Ang magandang edukasyon ay susi sa mas mabuting buhay, the great equalizer that allows every young Filipino a chance to realize their dreams...

We assist financially half of all students in private high schools....

We have provided 600,000 college and post-graduate scholarships. One of them Mylene Amerol-Macumbal, finished Accounting at MSU-IIT, went to law school, and placed second in the last bar exams--the first Muslim woman bar topnotcher. Congratulations...

In technical education and skills training, we have invested three times that of three previous administrations combined. Now, as an independent contractor and lecturer for transcriptions in Davao, kumikita siya ng P18,000 bawat buwan. Good job.

The Presidential Task Force on Education headed by Jesuit educator Father Bienvenido Nebres has come out with the Main Education Highway towards a Knowledge-Based Economy. It envisions seamless education from basic to vocational school or college....

It seeks to mainstream early childhood development in basic education. Our children are our most cherished possession. In their early years we must make sure they get a healthy start in life. They must receive the right food for a healthy body, the right education for a bright and inquiring mind—and the equal opportunity for a meaningful job....

For college admission, the Task Force recommends mandatory Scholastic Aptitude Tests. It also recommends that private higher education institutions and state universities and colleges should be harmonized. It also recommends that CHED will oversee of local universities and colleges. For professions seeking international recognition—engineering, architecture, accountancy, pharmacy and physical therapy—it recommends radical reform: 10 years of basic education, two years of pre-university, three years of university...

Our educational system should make the Filipino fit not just for whatever jobs happen to be on offer today, but also for whatever economic challenge life will throw in their way....

I know that this is not a sacrifice joyfully borne. This is work where it can be found—in faraway places, among strangers with different cultures. It is lonely work, it is very hard work....

Kaya nagsisikap tayong lumikha ng mga trabahong maganda ang bayad dito sa atin so that overseas work will just be a career choice, not the only option for a hardworking Filipino in search of a better life...

Meanwhile, we should make their sacrifices worthwhile. That means stronger consumer protection for OFWs investing in property and products back home.

Mula sa ating State Visit to Spain, it has become our biggest European donor.

For overseas workers, maraming salamat.

Our vigorous international engagement has helped bring in foreign investment. Net foreign direct investments multiplied 15 times during our administration.

Kasama ng ating mga Together with our OFWs, they more than doubled our foreign exchange reserves. Pinalakas ang ating piso at naiwasan ang lubhang pagtaasng presyo. They upgraded our credit because our reserves grew by $3 billion while those of our peers have shrunk.....

Our international engagement has also corrected historical injustice. The day we visited Washington, Senator Daniel Inouye successfully sponsored benefits for our veterans as part of America’s fiscal stimulus package...

I have accepted the invitation of President Obama to be the first Southeast Asian leader to meet him at the White House, this week....

That he sought us the Philippines testifies to our strong and deep ties....

High on our agenda will be peace and security issues. Terrorism: how to meet it, how to end it, how to address its roots in injustice and prejudice—and most and always how to protect lives....

We will also discuss nuclear non-proliferation. The Philippines will chair the review of the nuclear weapons non-proliferation Treaty in New York in May 2010. The success of the talks will be a major diplomatic achievement for us....

There is a range of other issues we will discuss, including the global challenge of climate change, especially the threat to countries with long coastlines. And there is the global recession, its worse impact on poor people, and the options that can spare them from the worst.

In 2008 up to the first quarter of 2009 we stood among only a few economies in Asia-Pacific that did not shrink. Compare this in 2001, when some of my current critics were driven out by people power, Asia was then surging but our country was on the brink of bankruptcy....

Since then, our economy has posted uninterrupted growth for 33 quarters; more than doubled its size from $76 billion to $186 billion. The average GDP growth from 2001 to the first quarter of 2009 is the highest in 43 years.

GNP per capita rose from a Third World $967 to $2,051. Lumikha tayo ng walong milyong trabaho, an average of a million per year, much, much more than at any other time....

In sum:

1. We have a strong economy in a strong fiscal position to withstand political shocks....

2. We built new modern infrastructure and completed unfinished ones.

3. The economy is more fair to the poor than ever before....

4. We are building a sound base for the next generation....

5. International authorities have taken notice that we are safer from environmental degradation and man-made disasters....

As a country in the path of typhoons and in the Pacific Rim of Fire, we must be as prepared as the latest technology permits to anticipate natural calamities when that is possible; to extend immediate and effective relief when it is not….The mapping of flood- and landslide-prone areas is almost complete. Early warning, forecasting and monitoring systems have been improved, with weather tracking facilities in Subic, Tagaytay, Mactan, Mindanao, Pampanga....

We have worked on flood control infrastructure like those for Pinatubo, Agno, Laoag, and Abucay, which will pump the run off waters from Quezon City and Tondo flooding Sampaloc. This will help relieve hundreds of hectares in this old city of its age-old woe....

The victims of typhoon Frank in Panay should receive their long-overdue assistance package. I ask Congress to pass the SNITS Law....

Nahuli noong 2006. She is now involved in an LGU-supported handicraft livelihood training of former rebels. We love you, Leah!

There is now a good prospect for peace talks both with both the Communist Party of the Philippines and the MILF, with whom we are now on ceasefire....

We inherited an age-old conflict in Mindanao, exacerbated by a politically popular but near-sighted policy of massive retaliation. This only provoked the other side to continue the war....

In these two internal conflicts, ang tanong ay hindi, “Sino ang mananalo?” kundi, bakit ba kailangang mag-away ang kapwa Pilipino tungkol sa mga isyu na alam ng dalawang panig over issues na malulutas naman sa paraang demokratiko.

There is nothing more that I would wish for than peace in Mindanao. It will be a blessing for all its people, Muslim, Christian and lumads. It will show other religiously divided communities that there can be common ground on which to live together in peace, harmony and cooperation that respects each other’s religious beliefs....

At sa lahat ng dako ng bansa, kailangan nating protektahan an gating mamamayan kontra sa krimen -- in their homes, in their neighborhoods, in their communities.

How shall crime be fought? Through the five pillars of justice. We call on Congress to fund more policemen on the streets....

Real government is about looking beyond the vested to the national interest, setting up the necessary conditions to enable the next, more enabled and more empowered generation to achieve a country as prosperous, a people as content, as ours deserve to be....

The noisiest critics of constitutional reform tirelessly and shamelessly attempted Cha-Cha when they thought they could take advantage of a shift in the form of government. Now that they feel they cannot benefit from it, they oppose it.

As the process of fundamental political reform begins, let us address the highest exercise of democracy...voting!

In 2001, I said we would finance fully automated elections. We got it, thanks to Congress....

At the end of this speech I shall step down from this stage...but not from the Presidency. My term does not end until next year. Until then, I will fight for the ordinary Filipino. The nation comes first. There is much to do as head of state—to the very last day....

A year is a long time. There are many perils that we must still guard against....

A man-made calamity is already upon us, global in scale. As I said earlier, so far we have been spared its worst effects but we cannot be complacent. We only know that we have generated more resources on which to draw, and thereby created options we could take. Thank God we did not let our critics stop us....

As the campaign unfolds and the candidates take to the airwaves, I ask them to talk more about how they will build up the nation rather than tear down their opponents. Our candidates must understand the complexities of our government and what it takes to move the country forward. Give the electorate real choices and not just sweet talk....

Meanwhile, I will keep a steady hand on the tiller, keeping the ship of state away from the shallows some prefer, and steering it straight on the course I set in 2001....

These qualities are epitomized in someone like Manny Pacquiao....Manny trained tirelessly, by the book, with iron discipline, with the certain knowledge that he had to fight himself, his weaknesses first, before he could beat his opponent. That was the way to clinch his victories and his ultimate title: ang pinakadakilang boksingero sa kasaysayan..........Mabuhay ka, Manny!

However much a President wishes it, a national problem cannot be knocked out with a single punch. A President must work with the problem as much as against it, and turn it into a solution if I can…

There isn’t a day I do not work at my job or a waking moment when I do not think through a work-related problem. Even my critics cannot begrudge the long hours I put in. Our people deserve-a-government that works just as hard as they do...

A President must be on the job 24/7, ready for any contingency, any crisis, anywhere, anytime....

Everything right can be undone by even a single wrong. Every step forward must be taken in the teeth of political pressures and economic constraints that could push you two steps back-if-you flinch and falter.. I have not flinched, I have not faltered. Hindi ako umaatras sa hamon....

And I have never done any of the things that have scared my worst critics so much. They are frightened by their own shadows....

In the face of attempted coups, I issued emergency proclamations just in case. But I was able to resolve these military crises with the ordinary powers of my office. My critics call it dictatorship. I call it determination.... We know it as strong government....

But I never declared martial law, though they are running scared as if I did. In truth, what they are really afraid of is their weakness in the face of this self-imagined threat....

I say to them: do not tell us what we all know, that democracy can be threatened. Tell us what you will do when it is attacked....

I know what to do:

I know what to do, as I have shown, I will defend democracy with arms when it is threatened by violence; with firmness when it is weakened by division; with law and order where it is subverted by anarchy; and always, I will try to sustain it by wise policies of economic progress, so that a democracy means not just an empty liberty but a full life for all....

I never expressed the desire to extend myself beyond my term. Many of those who accuse me of it tried to cling like nails to their posts....

I am accused of misgovernance. Many of those who accuse me of it left me the problem of their misgovernance to solve. And we did it....

I am falsely accused, without proof, of using my office for personal profit. Many of those who accuse me of it have lifestyles and spending habits that make them walking proofs of that crime....

We can read their frustrations. They had the chance to serve this good country and they blew it by serving themselves....

Those who live in glass houses should cast no stones. Those who should be in jail should not threaten it, especially if they have been there....

Our administration, with the highest average rate of growth, recording multiple increases in investments, with the largest job creation in history, and which gets a credit upgrade at the height of a world recession, must be doing something right, even if some of those cocooned in corporate privilege refuse to recognize it....

Governance, however, is not about looking back and getting even. It is about looking forward and giving more—to the people who gave us the greatest, hardest gift of all:

the care of a country.

From Bonifacio at Balintawak to Cory Aquino at EDSA and up to today, we have struggled to bring power to the people, and this country to the eminence it deserves....

Today the Philippines is weathering well the storm that is raging around the world. It is growing stronger with the challenge. When the weather clears, as it will, there is no telling how much farther forward it can go. Believe in it. I believe...

We can and we must-march-forward-with-hope, optimism and determination.

We must come together, work together and walk together toward the future.

And to the people of our good country, for allowing me to serve as your President, maraming salamat. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas.

Five Basic Financial IQs

Before I start, I would like to give thanks to Mr. Robert Kiyosaki for sharing his wisdom about anything related to money. Because of him, I was able to increase my context and now I'm thirsty for contents.

I've read his book entitled "Increase your Financial IQ" and one thing that I learned from him is about the Five Financial IQs. What are these? Let me start right away.

1. financial IQ #1: Making more money

The way to measure your IQ #1 is through the the net earnings a person get. For example, person A earns a net of 20,000 Pesos and person B earns twice as much. Person B's IQ is equal to his net earnings. This means, Person B has higher IQ#1 than person A.

2. Financial IQ #2: Protecting your money

The person who pay less in taxes has a measurably higher financial IQ. For example, in the Philippines, income tax rate differs in every salary bracket. A person who earns 50,000 a month is charged at about 25% while a person who earns 8000 pesos a month is only charged for 10%. If we do the math, person B has higher IQ#2 as compared to person A because, the tax that person B is paying is a lot lesser than A's.

3. Financial IQ #3: Budgeting your money

A person who spends more has lower IQ than a person who spends less. For example, Person A earns a net income of 40,000 pesos and Person B earns 20,000 pesos. Person A spends 40,000 on different forms of expenses while person B only spends 10,000 pesos a month. Person A has zero net income while Person B has 10,000 net income. In this case, person B has higher IQ#3.

4. FInancial IQ #4: Leveraging your money

After a person budgets a surplus, the next IQ is about leveraging the person's surplus money. When I say "surplus" money, I mean the excess money a person has after paying all dues and expenses. There are a lot of ways to leverage your money, one way is through stock market. The other way is through investing. The higher the ROI, the higher the IQ4 a person has.

If person A invests in the stock market and has 3% ROI and person B invested in real estates and get 5% ROI, person B has higher IQ#4.

5. Financial IQ #5: Improving your financial information

A person who has more accurate and up-to-date information has higher IQ5 than a person who only knows old capitalism information. The more forms of leverage you know, the higher your IQ5 is. There are already a lot of leverages available than ever before. All we need to do is increase our context and search for contents.

---

If you want more details about this topic, please buy and read Robert Kiyosaki's "Increase your Financial IQ".

How to harmonize the three parts of your brain to gain greater wealth?

A man has 3 different parts of the brain namely; left brain, right brain and the subconscious brain. We use our left brain during reading, writing, speaking and logic. Students who do well in school have well-developed left brains. Example of left-brain people are teachers, doctors, accountants, lawyers, scientist, programmers, engineers etc.

On the other hand, the right brain is often associated with music, arts, visualization and other non-linear relationships that require creativity and imagination. Designers, rock bands, artists are people that have well-developed right brains.

The third and most powerful part is the subconscious brain. It is the most powerful because, it includes what Robert Kiyosaki says the "primitive brain" in his book "Increase your Financial IQ". Primitive brain is like an animal instinct. Since humans are animals too, we do inherit this part of the brain.

Subconscious brain doesn't think but rather reacts, fights, flees or freezes. This part works during critical situations wherein, you don't have any time to think logically in order to react on a certain event. Most of the time, it defies both your left and right brain. To enlighten you, I'll give you an example. Your left brain tells you that, investing will make you rich. Your right brain imagines the bright future for you. But your subconscious brain tells you that "Investing is risky!", "What if I fail?", “I can't do that." If you can't control your subconscious brain, fear will control your life. For people who have strong will and determination, they would say "I can do it. I'll prove that to them." These people have the ability to control their subconscious brain and instead of having fear or doubts, they choose to be strong-willed and willing to fight.

The reason 90% of people are poor is because, their subconscious brain is preventing them from taking actions and solve critical situations head on. Rich people, on the other hand, tend to become stronger when facing problems. They can control their subconscious brain in order to take action and face the problem

Now how do we harmonize the three parts of our brain? The first thing to do is to eliminate fear. In order to eliminate fear, you have to learn and know what you are doing. If you fear that you might loose your money, then try to learn more about the actions that you are going to take. Always prepare an exit strategy.
